Carol Bruton
Carol’s work is part of the private collections of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, Banque Haviland, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, David Coulthard, Susan Feaster, Piero Manara, and Lieutenant Alexandre Perquerel. She has twice been awarded the Prix du Jury at the Comité National Monégasque de association internationale des arts plastiques, part of UNESCO; and has participated in exhibitions at UBS and Haviland Bank, 2020; Osaka Art Show, Japan, 2018; Beijing Biennale, China, 2017; Art Basel, 2014; Jersey City Museum, NY, NY, 2008; UBS Monaco, 2000.
A life lived near water, Carol swims daily in the Mediterranean, her organic paintings influenced by the reflections of images she views looking up through the water to the sky. The interplay of water, light and sky inspire her work, which conveys the urgency of protecting our waters.
